SCHOOL MANAGEMENT

We provide comprehensive school management services - helping entities set up and run schools. Our activities cover the entire spectrum - strategy, branding & marketing, school design, teacher hiring and training, pedagogy tools, and day -to- day running of the school. We believe each of these activities have an impact on others - to do full justice in executing one, you need to have control over the others. So we do not prefer to engage in piecemeal mandates. However, we can do so as part of a pilot assignment, to offer you a glimpse into our service quality.

Geographically, West Bengal is currently the focus of our school management activities.

THE LEVELFIELD SCHOOLS

The Levelfield Schools are our own model K12 schools. They are affordable, yet high-quality schools focused on the district towns of West Bengal. The first of these schools are being launched in the district town of Birbhum in WB in 2010 April session. The world-class education imparted by these schools will provide a ‘level-playing field’ to the students of district towns, vis a vis their metro city counterparts.

Our ‘earth-architecture’ based ashramic ambience is combined with a state-of-the-art, modern learning infrastructure - laptop/projectors in each class in middle and senior school, activity-based learning kits for junior classes, a library with huge collection of books of all genres, and a large collection of movies and educational documentaries.

However, the biggest difference is the teaching method used in the classrooms. Our classes will be much richer than the traditional lecture format. To make topics come alive, we will use selected movie-clips, documentaries and literature. To better develop useful life-skills, we will integrate debates, discussions and role plays into the curriculum. And all of those have been pre-designed for the teachers through comprehensive session plans - ensuring their implementation in the classrooms.
