A team that blends academic and execution excellence

The core team includes a person with significant industry leadership experience (IIT/IIM grad, and ex co-head of a 600 strong research firm), an experienced school administrator (founder principal of three DPS schools, with 25 years of school administration experience) and a prominent educationist (a pioneer in developing new teaching methodologies using movies and literature). Together, we bring in a refined academic philosophy, and innovative strategies for execution.

A proprietary, unique pedagogy tool

We have developed comprehensive session-by-session plans for individual subjects of each standard, to help teachers in the classroom. The plans make learning much more interactive and real-life oriented, and gets high quality even out of average teachers. These teaching tools that we have developed have much lesser reliance on lecture, and more emphasis on audio-visual learning (movie-clips, documentaries), and participatory learning (group discussions, debates, role-plays, team projects).

Eventually, the quality of the school really is the sum of what goes on in each classroom. By giving teachers specific, pre-designed pre-designed tools (stories, videos, exercises, activities) for each class, we ensure each classroom session results in learning that is holistic, real-life-oriented, and above all - joyous.

Innovation in each area of school management

From architectural design of the building, to the marketing collaterals of the school - in each of the areas our schools have unique, impactful ideas.

For example, a school planned by us in a district town in West Bengal uses lower-cost and sustainable ‘Earth Architecture’ - using indigenous materials, compressed earth blocks and local art and craft. With cottage-style junior classes, enough trees, pathways and natural waterbodies- the school has an Ashramic feel. This also achieves natural climate control, and lower cost of construction.

For the same school, in the area of teacher hiring as well - we are taking a newer approach. Given our comprehensive library of lesson plans and teaching aids - we prioritize intrinsic abilities (like intelligence, creativity, communication etc.) over years of experience. The smarter and younger teachers that we hire can easily be trained in our new-age methodologies. We designed a structured, case-study based interview method to evaluate potential teachers for their intrinsic abilities.
